Abstract:
To change processing for avoiding a finishing area according to data designation situation in PDF data, and suppress unnecessary reduction and movement of print data.SOLUTION: When it is determined that both of a bleed box and a trim box are not designated and that a data output area is overlapped on a finishing area, an overlapping avoidance part reduces and/or moves the data output area so as not to overlap on the finishing area. When it is determined that at least one of a bleed box and a trim box is designated and that an effective original area is overlapped on the finishing area, the overlapping avoidance part reduces and/or moves the effective original area so as not to overlap on the finishing area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
