Abstract:
To provide a side airbag device which achieves downsizing and weight reduction.SOLUTION: A side airbag device provided between a vehicle body door and a rear seat includes: a base member 20 having an airbag storage part 24 which stores an airbag 11 and an inflator 12; and a retainer member 60 which holds the airbag 11 and the inflator 12 from the vehicle body lateral side and the vehicle body rear side. The retainer member 60 has: an inflator assembly part 62 for assembly to an assembly shaft part 12b provided at the inflator 12; a webbing attachment part (an inner webbing attachment part 64) used for attachment of one end side of webbing 50 (inner webbing 52) which guides an expansion and deployment direction of the airbag 11; and a vehicle body attachment part 65 used for attachment to a vehicle body bracket B2 provided at a vehicle body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
