Abstract:
To provide a multiple string coin dispensing device for driving a plurality of coin dispensing units by a single motor, which can ensure prevention of erroneous dispensing of coins caused by unintended normal rotation of a rotary disk in an undriven state while enabling normal rotation of the rotary disk for dispensing coins and reverse rotation for solving a problem in the coin dispensing units in a driven state.SOLUTION: An unnecessary rotation prevention mechanism 80 comprises an unnecessary rotation prevention member 117 for preventing erroneous dispensing of coins caused by unnecessary normal rotation of a rotary disk 112 when coin dispensing units 110 are at unconnected positions. Engagement and separation between the engaging part 117b of the unnecessary rotation prevention member 117 and the engaging surface 114g of a coupling gear 114 are switched interlockingly with movement between the connected positions and the unconnected positions of the coin dispensing units 110. The rotary disk 112 is prevented from being normally rotated for dispensing coins through mutual engagement at the unconnected positions, and normal rotation and reverse rotation of the rotary disk 112 are permitted through mutual separation at the connected positions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 23
