Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a molded product that enables the molded product to be produced in a short molding cycle.SOLUTION: A method of producing a molded product of the invention (I) includes: a compression molding process, in which a thermoplastic resin composite material comprising a reinforcing fiber and a thermoplastic resin is placed in an open mold cavity until the temperature of the mold cavity surface reaches the following temperature T1°C or at the temperature T1°C, the mold is closed, and compression molding is performed; and a molded product removing process in which the molded product is removed by opening the mold after compression molding when the temperature of the mold cavity surface is at the following temperature T2°C. When the thermoplastic resin is a crystalline resin, T1>Tm, T2>Tm-110 (Tm represents the melting point (°C) of the thermoplastic resin). When the thermoplastic resin is an amorphous resin, T1>Tg, T2>Tg-70 (Tg represents the glass transition temperature (°C) of the thermoplastic resin).SELECTED DRAWING: None
