To effectively use energy required for warming up of a purification catalyst.SOLUTION: An warming-up device (cooling mechanism 200) includes a heating mechanism 40 for heating a purification catalyst 38 provided in an exhaust pipe, a refrigerant storage section 42 for storing a refrigerant heat-exchanged with the heated purification catalyst 38 to be kept warm, and a refrigerant delivery section (water pump 10) for delivering the refrigerant stored in the refrigerant storage section 42 to a warm-up object (cylinder head 16).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
