Abstract:
To provide an optical element having optical characteristics that are uniform on an element surface.SOLUTION: The optical element comprises: a plurality of lower electrodes provided on a surface of a lower substrate so as to completely cover the surface, and at least including first and second lower electrode parts adjacent in parallel in a first direction in the lower substrate surface; a plurality of upper electrodes provided on a surface of an upper substrate so as to completely cover the surface, and at least including a first upper electrode part facing the first lower electrode part and a second upper electrode part facing a part of the first lower electrode part and the second lower electrode part; and a conduction member held between the first lower electrode part and the second upper electrode part, electrically connecting the first lower electrode part and the second upper electrode part, and selectively arranged on an overlapping region where the first lower electrode part and the second upper electrode part overlap with each other when projected onto a virtual plane parallel to the lower substrate or the upper substrate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3-1
