Abstract:
To provide a posture control device of a saddle riding-type vehicle that facilitates recovery of a posture of a vehicle body even if unexpected roll movement occurs in the vehicle body.SOLUTION: The posture control device of a saddle riding-type vehicle comprises: a steering actuator that applies steering force to a steering mechanism that moves a handle and a steering wheel together; control means that drives and controls the steering actuator; vehicle body behaviour detection means; and handle input detection means. The control means, when a rate of increase of a roll angle detected by the vehicle body behaviour detection means is above a prescribed roll rate threshold A and steering-control input to the handle detected by the handle input detection means is less than a prescribed handle input threshold T, drives the steering actuator, so that steering force to a side at which the roll angle is increased is applied to the steering mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
