Abstract:
To provide: a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery electrode composition which is superior in charge/discharge capacity, cycle characteristic and durability (e.g. peel strength and interlayer strength) even with an active material such as silicon, which is large in volume change; and a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery electrode and a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which are arranged by use thereof.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery electrode composition comprises the following components (A) to (C): (A) a carboxymethyl cellulose of which the substitution degree of a carboxymethyl group is 0.5 to 1.5, or a salt thereof; (B) a crosslinking agent; and (C) an active material, provided that the component (B) contains at least one reactive group selected from among an epoxy group, an amino group, a carboxy group and a hydroxy group.SELECTED DRAWING: None
