To provide a stator that can ensure the degree of freedom of arrangement of two components arranged on both sides of the stator in the axial direction, and can locate these two components.SOLUTION: An insulator 34 of a stator 9 includes a first core covering part 41 stacked in a first direction X1 of an annular part 31 outside a cylindrical part 37 in a radial direction Y, and a second core covering part 42 stacked in a second direction X2. The first core covering part 41 and the second core covering part 42 respectively include a first to-be-abutted-part 43 and a second to-be-abutted-part 44 to which components can abut in an axial direction X. A first distance D1 between a center H of a stator core 33 in the axial direction X and the first to-be-abutted-part 43 is shorter than a second distance D2 between the center H of the stator core 33 in the axial direction X and the second to-be-abutted-part 44.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
