Abstract:
To provide a pouring device for continuous casting capable, in continuous casting using a single-holed immersion nozzle having a single discharge hole at a lower end of the immersion nozzle, of imparting a rotational flow to a molten metal flowing down an interior of the immersion nozzle without shortening the lifetime of the immersion nozzle or a sliding gate.SOLUTION: A pouring device for continuous casting has a sliding gate 1 having a passage-axis inclination angle α of 5° or greater and 75° or smaller between a passage-axis direction and a slide-face vertically downstream direction of flow passage holes 6 in respective plates 2 and a slide-face passage-axis direction different between the plates and changing clockwise or counterclockwise as going downstream, thereby forming a rotational flow of molten steel. An immersion nozzle 11 is made up with a single discharge hole made open in a bottom portion of the immersion nozzle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
