Abstract:
To provide an optical film which can improve the readability of displayed contents, and a display device using the optical film.SOLUTION: An optical element 100 includes a first medium 110, a second medium 120, and an optical deflection structure body 140. The second medium is formed on the first medium. The optical deflection structure body is formed at the interface between the first medium and the second medium. The relation between the optical element and light emitted from the light source satisfies a relation of 0<|WB-WA|/Wref<10, in which WA denotes an image magnification width which can be obtained when the light passes through the optical element with the first medium as a light entrance side, WB denotes an image magnification width which can be obtained when the light passes through the optical element with the second medium as a light entrance side, and Wref is a width which can be obtained when the light does not pass through the optical element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
