Abstract:
To prevent clogging of a nozzle even when a printing image has a width that is narrower than a width that a head can print.SOLUTION: A printing device includes: a head including nozzles arranged in a row along a Y-axis direction; a movement unit for moving the head in the Y-axis direction and an X-axis direction; and a control unit that controls the movement unit to move the head in the X-axis direction in printing. When a width in the Y-axis direction of a printing image is narrower than a drawing maximum width, the control unit controls the movement unit to move the head in the Y-axis direction in printing one printing image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
