Abstract:
To provide a water-repellent fabric that contains water repellent reproduced cellulose fibers on a surface of which the water-repellent is bound, free from dyeing unevenness, having high color fastness, and having durable water repellency, and its manufacturing method.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a water repellent fabric that is a water repellent fabric containing water repellent regenerated cellulose fiber, in which the water repellent regenerated cellulose fiber contains a compound containing one or more acidic groups selected from a carboxylic group and a sulfonate group, on a fiber surface of the fiber, a crosslinking agent and a non-fluorine type water repellent is bonded, the water repellent fabric is dyed with a reactive dye, and a contact angle with water is 90° or larger. The water repellent fabric can be manufactured by dying and drying, after hydrophilizing a water repellent fabric containing a water-repellent regenerated cellulose fiber containing a compound containing one or more acidic groups selected from the group consisting of the carboxylic group and a sulfonate group, and containing the water repellent regenerated cellulose fiber on a surface of which the crosslinking agent and non-fluorine type water repellent are bonded.SELECTED DRAWING: None
