Abstract:
To provide a technology capable of selectively radiating light to a specific position in a living body lumen.SOLUTION: A medical light radiation system comprises: a long-sized tubular catheter; and a long-sized light radiation device to be used by being inserted into the catheter. The catheter includes: a light transmission section that is provided at least at a portion of a lateral surface on the catheter's tip side and transmits light inside a tube to the outside; and a first marker section that is provided in the proximity of the light transmission section and has radiopacity. The light radiation device includes: a light radiation section that is provided at least at a portion of a lateral surface on the device's tip side and radiates light having a wavelength equal to or longer than 600nm and equal to or shorter than 1000nm to the outside; and a second marker section that is provided in the proximity of the light radiation section and has radiopacity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
