Abstract:
To provide a food orientation changing device that improves an accuracy of orientation change and suppresses a decrease in cutting efficiency.SOLUTION: A food orientation changing device 10 includes: a transport portion 20 that moves a first mounting surface 26a and a second mounting surface 26b that are arranged adjacent to each other and on which a sandwich S is placed straddling these mounting surfaces; a grip portion 30 that grips the sandwich S; a turning portion 50 that turns the grip portion 30 around an axis extending in a direction orthogonal to the first mounting surface 26a; and a control portion 11 that controls the transport portion 20, the grip portion 30, and the turning portion 50. The control portion 11 stops the second mounting surface 26b or moves it in a direction opposite to a transport direction while moving the first mounting surface 26a in the transport direction when changing an orientation of a food, and turns the grip portion 30 so that the first mounting surface 26a side is in the transport direction and the second mounting surface 26b side is in the opposite direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
