Abstract:
To reduce the number of neural networks to be used, and perform noise reduction with high image quality for images with various noise levels.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus in an embodiment holds combination data that associates a parameter related to a plurality of noise levels with at least either one of the combination of neural networks to be applied of a plurality of neural networks or the number of times of application of the neural networks, and indicates the combination of a plurality of pieces of noise reduction processing for the respective plurality of noise levels. Based on information on the noise level acquired from an image to be processed, the image processing apparatus determines the combination of the pieces of noise reduction processing for the image to be processed from the combination data. Based on the combination data of the pieces of determined noise reduction processing, the image processing apparatus executes noise reduction processing using at least one of the plurality of neural networks for the image to be processed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
