Abstract:
To achieve necessary brake force even when fluid pressure of a master cylinder does not sufficiently reach a wheel cylinder due to a sudden brake operation or the like by a driver in a brake device using a fluid pressure brake device and an electric brake device in combination.SOLUTION: A brake control device includes a control section. The control section calculates a target current value being a target value of current to a motor on the basis of fluid pressure of a master cylinder, reduces energization amount to the motor when an actual current value being an actual value of current to the motor reaches the target current value, sets a fluid pressure threshold being a threshold of fluid pressure of the master cylinder corresponding to brake force required for stopping a vehicle on the basis of an inclination angle of a road on which the vehicle is stopped, calculates time change amount of the fluid pressure of the master cylinder, and increases the energization amount to the motor when the fluid pressure of the master cylinder subsequently becomes the fluid pressure threshold or less when the time change amount exceeds a prescribed change amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
