To provide a vanity unit that can display an image at a top face of a vanity using light from a light-emission part that emits illumination light, and to provide a mirror cabinet.SOLUTION: A vanity unit 1 includes a vanity 2 and a mirror cabinet 3. The mirror cabinet 3 is disposed above the vanity 2. The mirror cabinet 3 includes a light-emission part and an optical modulator. The light-emission part emits illumination light.
