Abstract:
To provide an opening failure detector for a loom capable of accurately detecting an opening failure of a warp group.SOLUTION: An opening failure detector for a loom has: a camera 36 for photographing an opening of a warp T group vertically opened by a heald 17 with the camera directed from one side of the warp group to the other side; a light irradiating device 37 for performing surface emission to irradiate light toward the camera 36 at the other side of the warp T group; and a control unit 38 for detecting an opening failure from a camera image photographed by the camera 36 with the opening projected on the light irradiating device 37 as a background.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
