Abstract:
To provide an oil mist separator which can inhibit outflow of oil mist, contained in a blow-by-gas flowing from an inflow port and having a relatively large diameter, from an outflow port.SOLUTION: An oil mist separator 11 includes a case 12 having an inflow port 15 into which a blow-by gas flows, an outflow port 24 from which the blow-by gas flowing from the inflow port 15 flows, and a gas passage 25 in which the blow-by gas flows from the inflow port 15 to the outflow port 24. The oil mist separator 11 separates an oil contained in the blow-by gas in the case 12 and discharges the separated oil to an outside of the case 12 through an oil discharge port 36 provided at a lower part of the case 12. The inflow port 15 is disposed at the lower part of the case 12. An interior of the case 12 is provided with a guide surface 28 which extends from an upper surface 26 in the case 12 located above the inflow port 15 to a downstream side end part in the inflow port 15 and guides a part of the blow-by gas flowing from the inflow port 15 to the inflow port 15 side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
