Abstract:
To provide a sealability inspection device for inspecting the presence of a poorly sealed portion such a pinhole in a product in which a content including an electro-conductive liquid substance is filled in a package and sealed up.SOLUTION: A sealability inspection device 1 comprises: a pair of electro-conductive plates 10 arranged by being spaced apart; a conveyance unit capable of arranging a product P between the pair of plates 10 or ejecting it from between the pair of plates 10; an adjustment unit 20 capable of bringing the pair of plates 10 closer or separating these to the previous positions; and an electric circuit 30 capable of detecting short-circuiting between the pair of plates 10. First, the product P is pressed by planar end faces 11a, 12a of the pair of plates 10 with a sufficient pressing force to cause the content to leak from a poorly sealed portion and the product P is removed between the pair of plates 10 after pressure is released, then the pair of plates 10 are brought closer again and short-circuiting between the end faces 11a, 12a of the pair of plates 10 by a content Q having leaked from the poorly sealed portion is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
