Abstract:
To provide a server which combines a game function with a matching function and realizes a matching system capable of providing a wide range of encounter opportunities.SOLUTION: A game server which is configured to be capable of communicating with a plurality of user terminals and controlling progress of a game and management of a user state along a prescribed scenario of story nature generates a virtual space capable of screen display shared among users, arranges avatar images specific to users in the virtual space as characters that can be operated by respective users from terminals, instructs the terminals to display the virtual space, matches the users who have operated corresponding terminals every time a command is received from the terminal, as a part of the game scenario, progress of a game stage that can be completed by cooperation among matched users is controlled, and every time a user state in the virtual space changes as the game progresses, instructs the terminal to update a display screen in accordance with a change of the user state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
