Abstract:
To provide a meander prevention device that can effectively prevent the meander of a conveyor belt.SOLUTION: A meander prevention device 16 is installed on a transport device 10 that transports an article by a conveyor belt 11 that is driven for rotation, and prevents the conveyor belt 11 from meandering. The meander prevention device 16 includes a pulley unit 40 and a supporting unit 41. The pulley unit 40 includes a pair of taper pulleys 45 and a plurality of bend pulleys 46. The pair of taper pulleys 45 are each provided rotatably on both ends in the axial direction, and their diameter is reduced toward the outer end sides. The plurality of bend pulleys 46 are divided in plurality in the axial direction between the pair of taper pulleys 45, and each is rotatably provided independently. The supporting unit 41 supports the pulley unit 40 rotatably so that one taper pulley 45 moves in the rotational direction of the conveyor belt 11 according to the meander of the conveyor belt 11 and the other taper pulley 45 moves in the reverse direction of the rotational direction of the conveyor belt 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
