Abstract:
To provide a heat exchanger that can be made lightweight while securing pressure resistance.SOLUTION: A heat exchanger has a heat exchanging member 30 having two components 33, 34 of aluminum alloy jointed, and exchanges heat between cooling fluid flowing through a flow passage formed inside the heat exchanging member 30 and a battery outside the heat exchanging member 30. The first components 33 and the second component 34 are joined together via an adhesive 35. On a surface 330a of the first component 33 opposed to the adhesive 35, a first covalent binding layer 36 is formed which covalently binds a boundary surface between the first component 33 and the adhesive 35. On a surface of the second component 34 opposed to the adhesive 35, a second covalent binding layer 37 is formed which covalently binds a boundary surface between the second component 34 and the adhesive 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
