Abstract:
To provide a charge control device capable of suppressing wasted consumption of power when charging a second battery with power of a first battery.SOLUTION: If a voltage of an auxiliary battery 3 is equal to a prescribed value or less, a relay SMRB is turned off to bring a high voltage battery 2 and an inverter 4 into an electrically separated state in order to charge the auxiliary battery 3, and then a relay SMRD is turned on and thus the high voltage battery 2 and the auxiliary battery 3 are electrically connected. In this manner, the auxiliary battery 3 is charged with power of the high voltage battery 2 without wastefully charging a smooth capacitor or the like incorporated in the inverter 4 with power of the high voltage battery 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
