Abstract:
To provide an image formation device, which when a developer storage container having device identification information recorded therein is refilled with an undesignated developer, can appropriately prevent the developer storage container from being reused even if the developer storage container is reattached to an image formation device having the same device identification information, and a display method.SOLUTION: An image formation device 100 comprises a memorizing part 34 and an authenticating part 90. The memorizing part 34 memorizes container identification information applied to each developer storage container 50 and residual quantity information indicating a residual quantity of a developer stored in the developer storage container 50 while combining both information to each other. The authenticating part 90 authenticates the developer storage container 50 on the basis of the residual quantity information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
