Abstract:
To provide a communication system, an information processing apparatus, a communication method, and a program that can perform display control over information on participants even if attribute information is not registered before the start of a video conference.SOLUTION: A communication system in which a plurality of communication terminals transmit and receive voice data via a network to allow a video conference, and comprises: an imaging unit that acquires video data obtained by photographing one or more participants in the video conference; a detection unit that detects the participants from the video data acquired by the imaging unit; a voice input unit that receives input of voice data uttered by the participants; an extraction unit that extracts attribute information on the participants from the voice data input to the voice input unit; and a first control unit that performs, in a first communication terminal, display control over the information on the participants detected by the detection unit based on the attribute information extracted by the extraction unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
