Abstract:
To reduce the generation of turbulence caused by re-scattering oil separated from blow-by gas in an oil separator.SOLUTION: An oil separator 10 comprises an inlet part 23 and an outlet part 43. The oil separator 10 comprises a partition plate 26 that divides a separator space 50 into a first space 51 communicating with the inlet part 23 and a second space 52 communicating with the outlet part 43. The oil separator 10 comprises a collision plate 25 in the second space 52. The collision plate 25 has a collision surface 25C facing the partition plate 26. The partition plate 26 comprises a communication hole 26A that connects the first space 51 and the second space 52 at a position facing the collision surface 25C. The oil separator 10 comprises a rectifying unit 32 that widens the separator space 50 in a direction intersecting the direction in which the partition plate 26 and the collision plate 25 are lined up. The rectifying unit 32 extends in a groove shape from the partition plate 26 toward the outlet 43 side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
