Abstract:
To prevent conveyance failure in a fixing device.SOLUTION: A fixing device (20) comprises: a flexible rotating body (33); a pressure roller (32) that forms a nip part (N) with the flexible rotating body; a heating element (35); a regulation member (37a) that is provided movably with respect to one end of the flexible rotating body in the axial direction of the flexible rotating body and regulates the movement of the flexible rotating body in the axial direction; a guide member (45) that guides a sheet passing through the nip part and is provided downstream of the nip part in the conveyance direction of the sheet; and interlocking means (37c, 45a, 102) that move the guide member in the conveyance direction in interlocking with the movement of the regulation member in the conveyance direction so that the guide member and the flexible rotating body have a gap (X) in the conveyance direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
