Abstract:
To provide an electric vehicle capable of achieving control adapted to various states such as a state where a prompt restart of a power transmission is preferable when a non-contact power transmission is stopped due to foreign materials and the foreign materials are removed, and a state where minimization of a power consumption is preferable while the power transmission is stopped.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle has a main battery (11) accumulating power for traveling, a power reception unit (31) receiving, in a non-contact manner, power charging the main battery from a power transmission facility outside the vehicle, a communication unit (33) capable of communicating with the power transmission facility, and a charging control unit (34) communicating with the power transmission facility through the communication unit and controlling power transmission from the power transmission facility to the power reception unit. The charging control unit has a confirmation processing unit (34a) confirming whether the power transmission can be restarted when the power transmission is stopped based on detection of foreign materials, and a frequency control unit (34b) capable of changing a frequency of confirmation of the confirmation processing unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
