Abstract:

To provide therapies for suppressing the tumor growth-promoting nature of a tumor microenvironment in order to effectively beat cancer.SOLUTION: A composition includes soluble β-glucan and immunosuppression-relieving anti-cancer agents. Soluble β-glucan promotes an immunostimulatory environment, which allows enhanced effectiveness of the anti-cancer agents. Preferably, the immunosuppression-relieving anti-cancer agents are checkpoint inhibitors. Further, non-tumor targeting antibodies that enhance immune co-stimulation may be included.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
