Abstract:
To provide a charging roller capable of suppressing uneven rotation (peripheral speed deviation) and uneven charging.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a charging roller which includes: a conductive support medium 1; and a roller main body 5 which rotates around the conductive support medium as a rotation axis. The roller main body includes: a conductive elastic layer 2 in contact with the conductive support medium; and a conductive resin layer 3 which is provided around the conductive elastic layer so as to form the surface of the roller main body. A ten-point average roughness Rzjis on the surface of the roller main body is 20 μm or more and 30 μm or less, and the conductive resin layer contains polyrotaxane.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
