Abstract:
To provide a light-emitting device with which it is possible to emit light of an isotropic light distribution angle.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device includes resonators having a resonance unit composed of a photonic crystal structure. The lengths of the resonance units in a plurality of resonance directions all are equal, and the resonance units form a row along a first axis, the row extending along a second axis. The distance between the resonance unit located closest to one side of the first axis in the row located closest to one side of the second axis and the resonance unit located closet to one side of the first axis in the row located closest to the other side of the second axis, and the distance between the resonance unit located closest to the one side of the first axis in the row located closest to the one side of the second axis and the resonance unit located closest to the other side of the first axis in the row located closest to the one side of the first axis, are different. The plurality of resonance directions include a direction along the first and second axes, and the length of the resonance unit along the first axis and the length of the resonance unit along the second axis in a plan view are equal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
