Abstract:
To provide a liquid discharge head capable of performing a stable discharge operation by controlling an interface position of a discharge medium and a foaming medium.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge head 1 includes: a liquid flow passage 13 in which a first liquid 31 and a second liquid 32 flow; a pressure generating element 12 for pressurizing the first liquid 31; and a discharge port 11 for discharging the second liquid 32. In the flow direction, a distance L from a position where the first liquid 31 and the second liquid 32 merge in the liquid flow passage 13 to the discharge port 11 is made to be larger than an interface stabilization distance Le, which is a distance from the first liquid 31 and the second liquid 32 coming into contact with each other until a stable interface being acquired.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
