Abstract:
To provide a recording apparatus capable of reducing occurrence of a conveying defect during document conveying.SOLUTION: A recording apparatus 1 includes an apparatus main body and a document reading mechanism unit 3. The apparatus main body includes a recording medium support tray 10 having a recording medium support surface 10a formed for supporting a recording medium to be supplied to recording means 22, and inclined upward. The document reading mechanism unit includes a document support tray 53 being shorter than the recording medium support tray in a second direction, arranged so as to face the recording medium support tray, having a document support surface 53a formed for supporting a part of a discharged document, and inclined upwards. The magnitude of an angle θ1 formed by a horizontal plane and the document support surface of the document support tray is equal to or greater than an angle θ2 formed by the horizontal plane and the recording medium support surface of the recording medium support tray.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
