Abstract:
To provide a robot system and a control method that can increase precision of the movement to a set target position.SOLUTION: A robot system comprises: a base; a robot arm connected to the base; a moving mechanism for moving the base; an input part to which a target position of the base is input; a control part for controlling operation of the moving mechanism on the basis of the target position which is input to the input part; a detector for detecting a difference between a stop position of the base after the movement of the base is completed by the moving mechanism, and the target position; and a storage part for storing information related to the difference detected by the detector. When performing the movement of the base, the control part sets a set target position where the base should stop, in accordance with the information already stored in the storage part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
