Abstract:
To provide a color matching method capable of preventing useless execution of color matching processing, and efficiently performing color matching processing.SOLUTION: A color matching method includes: a step (S140) of acquiring an average color difference between a colorimetric value of a color chart output from a reference machine for each divided region obtained by dividing a region of the whole color chart into a plurality of regions so as to make a boundary parallel to a feed direction of a base material, and a colorimetric value of a color chart output from an adjustment object machine; a step (S190) of calculating a differential value of an average color difference between a reference region with respect to each divided regions excluding a reference region with a divided region having a minimum average color difference as a reference region; and a step (S200) of specifying a divided region having a differential value of a predetermined threshold value or more as an abnormal region in which abnormality of a head is generated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
