Abstract:
To inhibit the sense of discomfort given to a driver by suppressing an abrupt change of a state of an engine immediately after a start of the engine.SOLUTION: When a shift position is in a D-position, and an engine is activated, a hybrid vehicle sets an allowable rotation-number rise rate of the engine on the basis of an accelerator opening and a vehicle speed up until an engine rotation number reaches a target rotating member, or a lapse time after a start of the activation of the engine reaches a prescribed time, and controls the engine so as to be operated within a range in which a rise rate of the engine rotation number does not exceed the allowable rotation-number rise rate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
