Abstract:
To detect a communication state of a serial bus singly without occurrence of trouble in the serial bus.SOLUTION: A communication channel checker comprises: a signal generation units 14 connected to electrodes 22a and 22b in the vicinity of coated conductors La and Lb constituting a communication channel (serial bus) SB on which a logic signal Sa is transmitted, and configured to generate voltage signals Vc1 and Vc2 whose voltages are changed correspondingly to voltages Va and Vb of the coated conductors La and Lb capacitively coupled with the electrodes 22a and 22b, and generate a code identification signal Sf capable of identifying a code corresponding to the logic signal Sa based on a differential voltage Vo of the voltage signals Vc1 and Vc2;; a display unit 16; and a processing unit 15 which executes communication state detection processing for identifying the code from the code identification signal Sf and detecting a communication state of the communication channel SB based on the code, and display processing for displaying a detection result in the communication state detection processing on the display unit 16. The signal generation unit 14, the processing unit 15 and the display unit 16 are disposed in a case 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
