To provide a light source device which can be miniaturized, a projection device and a light source control method.SOLUTION: A light source device 60 comprises: a first light source group 701 having a plurality of first light emission elements 71, for emitting a first light beam flux L1; a second light source group 702 having a plurality of second light emission elements 71, for emitting a second light beam flux L2 crossing the first light beam flux L1; and a condensation element 75A having a first area 751A where a light path of the first light beam flux L1 is changed and a second area 752A where a light path of the second light beam flux L2 is changed, for emitting the first light beam flux L1 and the second light beam flux L2 crossing each other from the first area 751A and the second area 752A, respectively, and then condensing the light beam fluxes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
