Abstract:
To provide a fiber-reinforced molded article and a method for manufacturing the article having excellent impact resistance and flame retardancy.SOLUTION: A fiber-reinforced molded article according to the present invention has a cured product of prepreg which is formed by impregnating polymer alloy made of hot-melting polymer containing a unit based on tetrafluoroethylene and a polar functional group and polyamide into reinforced fibers, and fulfills V-0 level of the flame retardancy UL-94 standard. Further, in the method for manufacturing a fiber-reinforced molded article according to the present invention, a molded product which is formed of the reinforced fibers and the polymer alloy made of hot-melting polymer containing a unit based on tetrafluoroethylene and a polar functional group and polyamide is thermally pressed in a laminated state in a molding die.SELECTED DRAWING: None
