Abstract:
To provide a water purification method using a slurry-like or gel-like adsorbent formed by synthesizing a layered double hydroxide.SOLUTION: A water purification method in which contaminants in polluted water 1 are removed by adsorbing them onto layered double hydroxide. A slurry or gel-type adsorbent 2 containing layered double hydroxide (excluding those dried after synthesis) is placed upstream of a flow channel having a separation section capable of separating layered double hydroxide and water, and polluted water 1 is passed through the flow channel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
