Abstract:
To provide a child safety seat having an alert system having a simple structure, and capable of effectively warning improper installation of the child safety seat on a vehicle seat.SOLUTION: A child safety seat comprises: first and second restriction devices; an alert device 17 connected in series with a series circuit 19; and first and second switches 13, 14. Each of the first and second restriction devices can be engaged with a corresponding structure disposed in a vehicle, can be independently operated, and has an idle position and a deployment position. The first and second switches are operably joined to the first and second restriction devices, are each closed when the first restriction device is in a deployment position, and the second restriction device is in an idle position, and can be operated so as to emit an alert signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
