Abstract:
To suppress damage of a bearing by discharging moisture contents existing in an oil in an operation, to the external of the bearing, in a slide bearing for supporting a crank shaft of an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A semi-cylindrical half bearing for a slide bearing has at least one axial groove formed on an inner peripheral face, and the axial groove has a smooth groove surface retreating from the inner peripheral face to a radial outer side of the half bearing. The groove surface forms a convex curved line toward a radial outer side on a cross-section vertical to an axial direction of the half bearing, and forms a straight line extended in the axial direction on a cross-section in parallel with the axial direction. The half bearing further has a plurality of axial fine grooves formed in a manner of retreating from the groove surface to the radial outer side, on the groove surface, and the plurality of axial fine grooves are extended in the axial direction of the half bearing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
