Abstract:
To provide a semiconductor device with excellent portability and browsability.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device includes a display panel 102 with flexibility, a first housing 104 that supports a first region 110 of the display panel, a second housing 106 that supports a second region 112 of the display panel, and flexible base materials 108a and 108b that are fixed to the first housing. The display panel can be deformed between a developed state in which the first region and the second region exist on substantially the same plane and a folded state in which the first region and the second region are overlapped with each other. The second housing includes a groove part in which a part of the flexible base material can slide, and in the developed state, a part of the flexible base material is inserted into the groove part and in the operation of deforming into the folded state, at least a part of the flexible base material that is inserted into the groove part is extracted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
