Abstract:
To suppress deposition of carbon in an anode off gas discharged from a fuel battery cell stack when the anode off gas is recycled.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system includes: a fuel regenerating unit for removing water from an anode off gas discharged from a fuel battery cell stack to generate regenerated fuel gas; a water mixing unit for mixing water with the regenerated fuel gas; a heat exchanger which is provided on a downstream side of the water mixing unit, and in which heat exchange is performed between the anode off gas and the regenerated fuel gas to raise the temperature of the regenerated fuel gas, and the anode off gas that does not pass through the fuel regenerating unit does not join the regenerated fuel gas; and a circulation unit for supplying, to the fuel battery cell stack, the regenerated fuel gas that has been increased in temperature by the heat exchanger unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
