Abstract:
To provide a food cutting device which enables cut foods to be easily held.SOLUTION: A food cutting device 10 includes: a placement surface 21 on which a food is placed; a cutting blade 31 which includes a blade edge 31a extending in a first direction and cuts the food; a vertical movement part 32 which moves the cutting blade 31 vertically; a moving part 40 which moves at least one of the placement surface 21 and the cutting blade 31 in a second direction (a lateral direction) intersecting with the first direction and a vertical direction; and a control unit 60. The control unit 60 causes the cutting blade 31 to move in the second direction (the lateral direction) relative to the placement surface 21 before the cutting blade 31 is moved down to cut the food and then moved up to a position above the food.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
