Abstract:
To provide a vehicle door check device capable of shifting a door panel from a fully closed state to a pop-up state.SOLUTION: A vehicle door check device 40 keeps the opening degree of a vehicle door panel at a predetermined value. The vehicle door check device 40 includes: a long door check lever 41 that is housed in the door panel and moves forward and backward with respect to the door panel as the door panel opens and closes; and a shoe 42U that slides into a side surface portion of the door check lever 41. The side surface portion of the door check lever 41 has a first inclined surface inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction thereof. The first inclined surface of the door check lever 41 is pressed by the shoe 42U while the door panel is closed and held, so that the door check lever 41 is urged by the shoe 42U so that a force is applied to the door panel in a direction in which the door panel is opened.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
