Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus that prevents an increase in temperature of toner to reduce failures.SOLUTION: An MFP comprises: photoreceptor drums that develop electrostatic latent images formed on their surfaces with toner and carry developed toner images; a primary intermediate transfer belt 30 to which the toner images are transferred from the photoreceptor drums; a secondary intermediate transfer belt 57 to which the toner image are transferred from the primary intermediate transfer belt 30; and a transfer/fixation belt 67 to which the toner image are transferred from the secondary intermediate transfer belt 57, and heats the transferred toner images to fix the images to a recording medium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
