Abstract:
To provide a medical dilator that enables circulation of a liquid, such as blood, in a body and facilitates operation confirmation before use.SOLUTION: A medical dilator 1, which expands indwelling type medical equipment inserted into a blood vessel or the like in a body, comprises: a shaft body 100 extending in an axial direction; a diameter enlargement part 20 that is provided on a tip end side of the shaft body 100 and is expandable/shrinkable in an intersection direction intersecting the axial direction; and an operation mechanism 3 that is provided on a base end side of the shaft body 100 and causes the diameter enlargement part 20 to expand or shrink in a radial direction through a mechanical operation. The diameter enlargement part 20 includes a pressurizing part for applying a force directed in the intersection direction to the inside of the blood vessel or the like, and is configured such that a liquid flowing in the blood vessel or the like is capable of circulating by passing through the diameter enlargement part 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
